Built on a hill, overlooking Nice, the Mediterranean
and the Maritime Alps, the village has a castle at
its center.  
The main street is  narrow and very steep, with just enough room for a single car to pass, heading down.

The house, named "Vent d' Est" (East Wind) is located about one third of the way down the hill. A private courtyard with olive trees and palms provides an inviting oasis from the city.
